The Story

Children in
Burma deserve
a life of freedom
and fullness.

Partners works to make this happen
every day. You can help us.

Naw Moo Wa is a mother of six children. She is of the Karen ethnic minority and lives in eastern Burma.

Her husband was shot and killed by the Burma army. Her home and everything she could not carry away was burned and destroyed. Thousands like Naw Moo Wa and her family live displaced in mountainous jungle where they struggle to find enough food.

We are farming 100% organic food for the hungry and saving the seeds for the future.

Decades of war and instability have made food security a widespread problem affecting thousands who live displaced from their homes. Agricultural development is just one of the sectors of sustainable development where we join hands with locals to seek community based solutions that will last for generations to come.

Instead of feeling bad about what’s happening in the world like so many others, she decided to do something about it.

Miki is no ordinary 21 year old. After hearing about the thousands of children having to run for their lives in Burma, she decided to run her first half marathon and raised enough funds to support 5 children in Burma for an entire year. Like Miki, we are committed to doing more than just talking about love. We seek to live it out one step at a time.

Over a decade ago two ordinary people dug into their wallets and gave $30.

They hoped to see an orphan in a refugee camp grow up in freedom and fullness. Love became tangible that day in eyes that blinked back at you. It materialized into something, someone, you could hold. It was a child who would grow into a woman. Displaced children in Burma have a renewed hope for the future because of this kind of compassion.
